OOC-SORRY FOR LACK OF COMMENTARY WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL IN FUTURE WEEKS
AWR CRASH TV #33
LIVE!
David Saturn-"Hello and welcome to the 33rd episode "spectacular" of CRASH Tv! Tonight Fa Sho takes on Jason Skilled for the World Title...and um...that's it! Rusty Axel with myself David Saturn at ringside..."
Rusty Axel-"Well it ain't a bad match to give away Saturn is it? Especially with ma'boy Jason all set to win his first World heavyweight Championship in professional rasslin!"
David Saturn-"Its certainly isn't a bad match but people might be asking why we only have one match on the show!"
Rusty Axel-"They were lucky to get any championship bout for free back in Old Rusty's day!"
David Saturn-"What's going on with the chaos at AWR HQ then? The company has been in chaos and we have heard nothing from Silvio Megala and Roberto Maggia. You should know something being the head of talent relations..."
Rusty Axel-"Well I ain't privy to the legal matters between Silvio and young Roberto but I've heard they may be on the verge of settling the matter."
David Saturn-"I'm pretty sure Silvio is still denying he's Maggia's Father then? Anyway last week at Shotime we saw the SHOCKING return of Skull! Were you aware of that then?"
Rusty Axel-"Well I certainly wasn't aware of it! Nobody gave Skull permission to enter the facility in...wherever it was we were at last week...he can't come and go as he pleases! He ain't here tonight as far as I'm aware and he's ain't welcome as long as Old Rusty's in charge of the rasslin here!"
David Saturn-"It would be a shame for the fans not to see the legendary Skull here tomorrow but I suspect we haven't seen the last of him. I don't think it was a one night appearance..."
Rusty Axel-"Well they are seeing a rasslin legend here tonight with me doing color commentary out here!"
David Saturn-"Right...well hopefully that's all you do. Anyway the announcer looks like he's getting a little impatient so lets hear the introductions!"
From Gaithersburg, Maryland...Jason...SKILLED!!!
From St Louis, Missouri...Kris...Fa...SHO...DESTINY!!!
Jason naively turns his back on Sho to grin at Rusty cheering him on. Rusty failed to realise he was accidentally contributing to distracting Jason there. The ref tries to break things up as Sho charges and lays into Jason with multiple punches. Jason sneaks up as Sho argues with the ref but Sho spins round connecting with a right hand. Sho pulls Jason up and knocks him down again. Sho and Jason moving up the ramp now and Sho delivers a vicious suplex! Sho then rams Jason's head into the ground before rolling him back into the ring.
Right hands and Jason backed into the ropes. Jason is tied up in the ropes and the ref starts the count as Sho connects with hard shots to the head. The ref breaks it up and Sho briefly retreats but then charges. Jason raises his boot catching Sho in the face. Sho staggers backwards into the ropes and Jason charges only to be backdropped right over the top rope! Jason landed hard on the mats there...not a great landing at all for skilled! Sho is quick to head to the outside and he connects with a brutal uppercut followed by slamming Jason's head into the steel railing.
Another right almost knocks Jason into the front row. Sho then picks Jason up and drops him very painfully on the barricade! Headbutt by Sho and he pulls Jason into the ring. Jason tries to wrap his legs around the top rope as Sho pulls him forwards. A right hands knocks Jason down to the mat and as Jason tries to fight to his feet he is knocked down by another right. Jason can't absorb many more shots like this as Sho goes to whip his opponent into the ropes. Jason suddenly reverses and Rusty (having just moved from his commentary position to call encouragement) trips Sho.
The ref didn't see it and Sho immediately tries to go after Rusty. He then has second thoughts and turns his attention back towards Jason. However Jason was quick to charge and pushes Sho right off the apron and face first into the barricade! For once Rusty timed something well unless of course you're against such blatant cheating. Most of the fans are certainly backing Sho here whether he cares or not. The ref admonishes Rusty (but didn't see the trip but clearly suspects something) and Jason comes off the apron with a double axe handle.
Another right knocks Sho against the barricade. Hard shots by Jason and he rolls Sho into the ring. Sho whipped into the corner with enough force to knock him to his knees. Jason talks some trash in Sho's face then pulls Sho up and delivers a piledriver! 1,2...and Sho kicks out! Rusty was out of his seat ready to enter the ring for a celebration. Really shows how little Rusty truly knows about wrestling since it will take more than that to put Sho away at this stage. Sho reverses a whip but is clearly still shaken by the piledriver and Jason plants Sho with a DDT!
Two high impact moves in succession there and the champ is reeling. Jason takes his time (grinning at Rusty's cheering) but is slow to make the cover. 1,2...and Sho kicks out! Neither Jason or Rusty realise they have unintentionally distracted each other at points in this match. Though it was Rusty who distracted Sho earlier and since then Jason has taken control. Sho whipped off the ropes and Jason applies a sleeper. Rusty looks impressed as Jason tries to drive Sho down to the mat. Both men in the centre of the ring as Jason clamps on the pressure.
Sho manages to drive Jason back first into the corner but Jason keeps the sleeper locked on. Sho grabs for the ropes as Jason clamps it on harder. Sho breaks the hold driving Jason into the corner again. A right hand staggers Sho and once again Jason goes for the sleeper. Sudden;y Sho slips under Jason and hoists him into the air with a tremendous suplex! Jason quickly back up but Sho firing away with right hands and then whips Jason off the ropes. Jason charges back but Sho elevates him into the air with a back body drop!
Jason pulls himself up in the corner and Sho hammers away at him with punches. Jason whipped into the opposite corner with such velocity he almost goes over the top turnbuckle. Jason staggers forwards and Sho connects with a vicious clothesline! Sho isn't going to waste any time with covers...1,2...and Jason kicks out. Sho whips Jason off the ropes and this time connects with a spinning heel kick as Jason charges back. Another cover...1,2...and Jason kicks out again. Jason whipped off the ropes again and this time Sho takes Jason down with a suplex!
Cover again...and another 2 count. Jason whipped into the corner and Sho charges but his timing is slightly off. Jason moved at the last moment and Jason goes for a superkick as Sho staggers forwards. Sho ducks and connects with another spinning heel kick! Jason falls to his knees and he may well have been knocked senseless! Sho then goes for the BLACKOUT and Jason is all set to be put away! However Rusty rushes the ring and nails Sho with the World championship belt! Rusty pulls Jason out of the ring and both men cowardly run up the ramp as Sho clutches his face.
WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION...FA SHO
Sho looks furious as Jason and Rusty mock him from the top of the ramp. Not really actions to be proud of but what else can be expected from the illustrious head of talent relations? Sho looks like he's about to give chase as the show fades out!
