The scene fades in and we are outside of the Coca Cola Field in Buffalo, New York. It’s a nice day outside, the usual traffic going by. The weather just right with no signs of rain or storm. Gemini is sitting at a bench nearby, wearing a red t-shirt with some cargo pants. After he finishes sending off a text message to someone on his phone, he puts his phone back into his pouch and chugs down the rest of the coke that he had. He then lets out a belch and smirks as he begins to speak.
Gemini: Good afternoon ladies and gentleman, I am your current AWR Crash Champion…THE DESTROYER GEMINI.
I know a lot of people have been posting there opinions about my actions last week in regards to burning down Rusty Axel’s ranch and setting his animals free. The truth of the matter is that this wasn’t entirely an act of revenge. It was me doing what was right for the community. It was me doing what was right in the name of animal rights. As much as it pained me to burn down the ranch that Rusty inherited less than 3 months ago, he had it coming to him. It’s called bad karma. After all the things that Rusty has said and done over his last 34 years in the wrestling business and what he has specifically said about me ever since I’ve been here, someone had to put a stop to his evil ways. Someone had to show him that he was NOT above the law. Most importantly, someone had to stop him from continuing his cruelty against animals. That, ladies and gentleman, is the reason why I did what I did last week and I don’t regret a damn bit of it.
Gemini takes a drink of coke as he continues.
The past is the past and now that last week is done, it’s time to focus on the task of this week. As of August 15, 2013, I have officially held the AWR Crash Champion for 30 days. I know Kris Destiny has said many things about me, including the fact that I celebrate despite not facing true competition. So I’ll admit it, the likes of Playboy Pete and Robert Carr may not have been that much of a sweat, but I’ll remind everyone that I defeated RCH3, a former World Champion in his own right, to become champion. I also defeated Rusty Axel, whom although has NOTHING to show for his 34 years of hard work in the ring, still has a box of tricks to use to throw you off your game if you’re not performing at your absolute best and keeping focus. The bottom line is even though I haven’t faced the likes of Kris Destiny, Anthony Royal or my old time rival and former partner Jay Swift, I have still come out week after week and performed my duties as a defending champion. I don’t celebrate because I’m beating competition that’s beneath me. I celebrate because Pat Riley once said there's always the motivation of wanting to win. Everybody has that. But a champion needs, in his attitude, a motivation above and beyond winning. That’s what I have. I didn’t just go after the Crash Championship for the sake of beating weak competition. The AWR Crash Championship was a stepping stone for me. Each and every single win I’ve experienced so far has been motivation for me to continue on towards completing my goal of being the best competitor. And that continues on this week as I defend my title against two people that have been rather loud in recent weeks. Tracy Adkins and Robert Carr.
Tracy, I’ve watched you over the past few weeks and I can honestly say that I’m not impressed by ANYTHING that you have done and said. For as long as I can remember, you’ve come out week after week singing the same ballad about how management has been keeping you on the lower card. You’re complaining about how they haven’t let you compete against the type of competitors you feel you deserve to compete against. Well, in my honest opinion, you should bow down and thank God for blessing you with such an early Christmas present because you damn sure don’t deserve this title match. You see in order to be a true champion; one must learn how to display leadership and SHOW UP TO WORK ON TIME! You don’t know how to do that. Another quality of a true champion is to uphold your image, and as much as I hate to say it Tracy, but your image SUCKS right now! Your problem, Tracy, is that you’re all talk talk talk but have no action to back it up! I remember a few weeks ago when you were competing against Jay Swift. You begged him to bring the fight. You begged him to bring everything he had because it was going to be an all-out hardcore fight. What happened that night? I’ll tell you! In less than 5 minutes, Jay Swift showed his “hardcore nature” and had you laying on your back for a three count. I know, you’ll probably chalk that up as Swift getting lucky that night, right? Okay, so let’s say by the graces of God, that statement was actually true. What happened last week when you faced Naughty Ned? You complained how management fucked you over by putting you in such a degrading, filthy match, but when it was all said and done, NAUGHTY NED BEAT YOU! So in translation, the only reason why you’re at the bottom of the card continuously going against trash is because YOU COMPETE LIKE TRASH!
Gemini takes a moment to laugh and chugs down some more soda as he continues.
Now, I haven’t forgotten about you Robert Carr. Oh noooo! I remember when I defended my title against you the week before Thunderstorm, you claimed that you were going to take back what was yours and become a 2x Crash Champion! That didn’t work out too well did it? Apparently not because for one, I’m still standing here as the AWR Crash Champion and for two, you went on the following week telling the media how you were going to kick my ass. Now I know over the last few weeks you’ve been on a personal vendetta trying to make Jay Swift look like a fraud and prove him to be a liar. Well now I’m beginning to see why you and Tracy make such a good team. While Tracy goes along complaining about management unfairly putting him in under-rated matches that he feels he is above, you go around trying to portray people as liars and backstabbers when you are the real liar. Yes, you won your match at Thunderstorm. Good for you! But to be honest with you Robert, you need to give up your act because it’s just downright BORING! Do you realize how many viewers across the world actually turn the TV whenever you come on because they are tired of hearing the crap that comes out of your mouth? There is a lot of great things that are done for business, but you, Robert Carr, are BAD FOR BUSINESS! You have no humility. No humbleness! No respect for your superiors. You talk about you want to know who’s ass Swift has been kissing? I think the entire world will love to know whose ass YOU’VE BEEN KISSING just to get another title shot, which again, you have NOT earned!
You see at the end of the day, Tracy Adkins and Robert Carr is going to lose this match on Thursday night because they have no real goals. They have no real vision. They have no PASSION. I don’t just want to be the AWR Crash Champion. I want to be the champion of the AWR universe. I want to be the champion to every single person out there that’s probably been searching for a true brotherly figure to inspire them to do much better things in life. I want to go to FEEL THE BURN in San Antonio, Texas on September 26, 2013 and dethrone Kris “Fa Sho” Destiny to become the NEW AWR World Champion and the new face of the company. And the reason why I’m going to do it is because of this….
Gemini gets up and goes to a baby stroller that was sitting near him. He lifts up his 2 year old daughter, Arlene, who is dressed in a pretty white dress with shoes. Gemini smiles as she playfully punches him in the face.
This is my heartbeat right here. The reason why I wake up every day. When I went to jail last year after committing that terrible sin against my ex-girlfriend, I felt my world coming to an end because for a moment, I thought I was going to be condemned to life in prison and with that, I would have never been able to see my beautiful angel again. But that wasn’t the case. The good lord blessed me with a second opportunity to get things right and that’s why I’m here. As champion of this organization, I will set the right example. I will do the right thing. Although I have not always been a good person, my past is the past. It is filled with stories that I have looked back at and learned from that way I know NOT WHAT TO DO here in the present. The bottom line Tracy Adkins and Robert Carr is that I am not the same person I was when I once held the THW World Title in 2010. And I’m definitely not the same person that I was when I got fired from THW last year. I am a much different person. A much better person. I am the man that’s going to lead a new generation in this company and that motivation alone is going to lead me to making the both of you FEEL….THE…BURN when I get into the ring with you this week.
And as for you Kris Destiny…you can simply….GO TO HELL!
Gemini continues to play with his little girl and then smirks as the scene fades to black.
