Bio:
Gunner Hughes grew up in the city of Portland, a trouble free kid who had a love for photography and movies, and excelled on both his high school wrestling and football teams in his teen years. Eventually Gunner was overcome by the glow of lights from the bigger cities in California, so after he graduated he skipped college to migrate south to Los Angeles where he found work as a well paid security guard for a top level nightclub. Throughout the four years he worked there tossing bodies out the door when needed, he rubbed elbows with all sorts of characters, characters who offered bounties in exchange for Gunner's "special set of skills". Debt collector, property repossession, example setter, just straight up ass kicker.....there was no job to big for Gunner Hughes. That is, until one day he suddenly upped and walked away from the security guard scene without any explanation. Some say he was going into business for himself and no longer needed the paycheck he was getting from the club owner, others say the jobs he was performing on the side were starting to become too dangerous for him to maintain his public position at the club, and yet even others say that he entered into the world of underground fighting under a different ring name. Wherever the truth may lie, one thing is for certain....none of his alleged former associates are saying a word. In fact, when asked, they claim to have never even heard of the name "Gunner Hughes".
As a person, Gunner has confidence in his own abilities, but does not often overlook his opponents. He attempts to analyze and correctly estimate his targets before every encounter, and he will use mental warfare when necessary to get inside their heads and throw them off of their game. Skilled in the art of surveillance and information gathering, he has now decided to rekindle his wrestling roots and has set his sights on Attitude Wrestling, and becoming a shark inside the growing talent pool.
Although it has never been stated officially, it's rumored that Gunner's services are also being considered as available to the members of the AWR. You really want to win that next match? Why not hire Gunner to "have a talk" with your opponent in his locker room before the match starts? Of course, this is just a rumor...
