*Wilhelm Kaast towers above the people of New York and the various tourists on the streets around Ground Zero, the site of the infamous attack. Much like the rest of the world, he too, decides to stop this week and reflect over the terrorist attacks. Ten years, ten long years had the search for vengeance over the attacks spanned, eventually culminating with the capture and death of Osama Bin Laden. He stares down at the thousands of names written on the plaque placed in memoriam of those who lost their lives on that fateful day*
Wilhelm: You never know when your time will come. All of those who died on September 11, 2001 thought it was going to be just another day. Then, boom.
*Wilhelm begins to walk away from the plaque*
Wilhelm: They were hit by two planes colliding into the famous buildings. What a disaster it was for humanity, and something that even today many of us still take to heart. Nothing will be able to erase this disaster from the minds of those who can say that they were there. The images of people jumping from the building will be forever etched into their minds.
*Wilhelm looks directly at the camera*
Wilhelm: This September 11, the new memorial will be unveiled directly on Ground Zero. Now, the question must be asked. What will you be doing, this September 11?
*He continues walking*
Wilhelm: This September 11, several independent wrestlers, including myself, will be putting on a charity event in Times Square to raise money for the families of these attacks. We realise that no amount of money can truly compensate the loss of a loved one, but we hope that any and all funds raised will at the least help them with the pain.
*He stops again*
Wilhelm: You too can help those families by buying the event on Pay per View, or by purchasing merchandise from official vendors at the event, or even by phoning in to the number at the bottom of your screen and making a pledge. Please help by donating any money you can.
*Wilhelm walks off as the camera stays put*
Voice Over: Paid for by the Wrestlers in support of the 9/11 victims association.
*The scene fades down to Wilhelm sitting in the Seinfeld diner, reading the back page of the New York Times. JK soon enters through the door, and sits down on the opposite part of the booth, unbeknownst to Wilhelm*
JK: Good win last week, mate.
*Wilhelm puts the paper down*
Wilhelm: Thank-you, Jordan. It was unfortunate to see that you did not have the same luck with your match, however.
*JK shrugs it off*
JK: Wins come and wins go, mate. I’m just stoked that I was there to hear my daughter speak for the first time. That is much more important to me than winning some stupid Battle Royale. So, this 9/11 schpeal. How did you end up getting that gig?
Wilhelm: Volunteered for it. This is an important day, and it deserves to be remembered for the memory of all those that unfortunately died for no reason other than religious Jihad by some idiotic extremists. Unfortunately, this is all I can really do. I do not hold a powerful position at the moment, and I sure can’t bring the victims back from the dead, but I can offer the families my time and services to raise money for them. You should consider doing the same.
*JK shakes his head*
JK: Can’t. Going to be in Melbourne for the 9/11 service there. I will be pledging $10,000 to your match, though.
*Wilhelm curtly nods in acceptance*
Wilhelm: To which I thank you. Every dollar raised helps.
JK: So what are you going to do about this Robert Carr dude?
*Wilhelm shrugs*
Wilhelm: Same thing I did to Rusty Axel. He probably saw what happened, and compared to his draw, my match showed more dominance on my behalf than the ending of his fight. Hell, I’ll take a bet that he is quietly shitting himself at the possibility of having to go against someone of my stature, and probably slowly seeping into paranoia.
*JK laughs a little*
JK: Let me guess, he’s also smashing mirrors believing that they are you, right?
*This prompts Wilhelm to laugh somewhat*
Wilhelm: If he does, then that’s going to lead to a lot of bad luck for him. Seven years of which, and it will start when I get to show him why it is that Die Flammenkrieg is the most destructive force in the world today.
*JK raises an eyebrow at him*
JK: I reckon Tyvola back in the UGWC could give you a run for your money, dude.
Wilhelm: But I would still defeat him, much like I will against Carr. He has no idea what he is in for.
JK: And you’re going to be the one to let him know.
*both share a quiet laugh as the promo fades to an end*
